Hourly Rate

The hourly rate for Occupational Therapy is $193.99 per hour.

Each hour of face-to-face service will require a non face-to-face component

Face-to-Face

  • Direct individualised sessions with the participant

Non Face-to-Face

  • Writing session notes, progress updates, therapy/support plans, and schedules of support

  • Session preparation which may include research, development of resources, and reviewing past documentation including reports

  • Training sessions for those involved in the care of the participant

  • Stakeholder and multidisciplinary meetings

  • Communication with the participant, support coordinator, family, carers, and other allied health providers (e.g. phone calls, emails, online meetings)

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your appointment, we require 48 business hours’ notice. Notice short of this will incur a cancellation fee.

Rescheduling

  • If the appointment is able to be rescheduled to a mutually available time within the same week, the cancellation fee will not apply

  • Rescheduling is only available if the clinician has not yet travelled to the appointment location

Other conditions

  • If the clinician has travelled to the appointment location and the participant is not able to attend, this will incur a cancellation fee inclusive of the travel charges

  • If participant is late to the appointment, they will be charged for the full appointment time

Travel

To ensure efficient travel and minimise cost, we will allocate you the closest available clinician and split travel costs between participants where appropriate.

Travel Time

  • Time spent travelling will be charged at $96.99/hour

  • 30min each way for MMM1-3 areas

  • 60min each way for MMM4-5 areas

Non Labour Travel

  • Distance travelled in kilometres will be charged at $1 per km

  • Any parking or toll fees incurred will be charged back to the participant in full

Functional Capacity Assessment

A typical Functional Capacity Assessment (FCA) requires 15 hours however, this can vary depending on complexity which may be discovered during the assessment phase.

An FCA is inclusive of the below, please note this is a guide only:

  • Liaison with the Support Coordinator and other stakeholders (1 hour)

  • Review of previous reports and documentation (1 hour)

  • Consulting with family, carers, and other service providers (2 hours)

  • Assessment appointment including travel (2.5 hours)

  • Scoring and analysts of standardised assessments (1 hour)

  • Discussion of recommendations (30 minutes)

  • Writing of report, including one revision (7 hours)
